Version 1 of this book came with the first 1000 copies of the Mekons Existentialism CD and is long out of print. A collection of writing and artwork responding to each of album's 12 tracks, it features work by Mekons past and present, plus artist pals Jock McFadyen, Jo Claewaert, Martin Billheimer, and Helen Tsatsos, and writer friends Megan Abbott, Johnny Dowd, Emma Bolland, Jeffrey St. Clair, Wendy Frith, and John Williams. This new version doesn't include a CD, but has 16 pages of song lyrics (many handwritten and annotated) that were not in the original book and aren't part of the CD booklet. All for $9.95 plus postage.
